Our story

How we got our start?
Wallaroo begins with the sun drenched landscape of Australia – where the threat of skin cancer has long been understood. We wanted to share that awareness far and wide. Our mission is to eliminate the threat of skin cancer with information on prevention and manufacturing fashionable sun protection.

What makes our product unique?
As a leader in the sun-protective hat industry, Wallaroo takes this health threat very seriously. Our hats are tested and rated according to the UV radiation blocking capabilities of materials used in the construction of our hats; focused on materials that provide UPF 50+ & UPF 30+ sun protection.
