Trekker Tent 2 – Combo Pack with Trekking Poles

At 2 lb 12 oz, the Trekker Tent 2 is one of the lightest backpacking tents on the market. At 7 feet long, 62 inches wide, and 42 inches tall, it also has more room than any tent in the ultralight category. Roomy for one but comfortable for two. It’s a great 3-season tent. It’s compact, so it can fit easily in your backpack or bug-out bag and comes with 8 ultra-light aluminum stakes and a carrying bag.

The total weight of the tent without trekking poles 2 lbs 12 oz with a carrying bag and aluminum stakes. With no poles to string through the tent, it is super fast and simple to set up. Just stake down the corners and put in the trekking poles and it can be set up in as quickly as 1 minute.

No Poles? No Problem!

Since many other tents come with cheap, fragile poles which are the first things to break and make the tent worthless, no poles means no problems. This tent will work with trekking poles, sticks, or tied between two trees.

Two Layer Door, Great Value

The door has an inside mesh layer which zips up tight to keep the bugs out, and so you can keep the outer door open for added ventilation. For even more ventilation, take a look at our Trekker Tent 2.2. The tent has lots of room inside with added features like a personal-items pouch and loops in the corners for hanging lanterns or flashlights.

This tent is intended for use with trekking poles. Choose to buy the tent with or without poles above. You can set up the tent with your own trekking poles.

Our RCP carbon reinforced aluminum trekking poles make setting up your Trekker tent quick and easy. The trekking poles are durable and easy to use. There are clasp locks to prevent your poles from slipping and baskets and rubber tips are included. The cork handle is comfortable and the foam secondary handle is perfect for going up hills. Each trekking pole weighs 10oz.

Won’t fill up your pack

This tent packs down as small as a junior football so it will fit in your pack without filling it up, and at 2 lbs 12 oz, it is lighter than many hammock and rain fly combos. This tent also comes with a carry bag, orange guy lines, and 8 ultra-light red aluminum stakes.
