We designed the Summit Down Sleeping Bags in the rugged backcountry of Southern Utah, field testing it at 12,000+ foot peaks all the way to slot canyons and desert floors. From there, we sourced IDFL certified and RDS sourced down, quality milled ripstop fabrics, and YKK zippers to put together premium components for premium performance. Last we flew around the world and met with quality manufacturers to ensure our gear was being made in quality and ethical manufacturing facilities!

The end result is a premium ultralight down sleeping bag that will cut weight out of your pack, keep you warm and not break the bank account!

Ultra Tough: The Summit ultralight sleeping bags only use light and tough materials. The 10D ripstop fabric allows you to shave weight off of the sleeping bag, while retaining leather like toughness! This bag will last you a lifetime!

Innovative Design:

Warmth Where You Need It: Our tailored down distribution takes some down out of areas you don’t need it like underneath your back where it’s compressed and un-lofted, then reallocating it to your footbox for warmer feet and better sleep!

StormLoft Down: We take our 800+ fill power IDFL tested and responsibly sourced down and coat it in a hydrophobic coating giving the down resistance to water and condensation!

VitalDry DWR: We utilize our unique VitalDry DWR coating to repel water off of the shell of the sleeping bag, keeping you warmer and drier!

Generous Sized: Compressed down is cold down so we decided that rather than make a mummy bag as tight as possible to save material costs, we would make it large enough to not press against the sides and reduce loft! Enjoy a roomy fit in the Summit bags!

Our down and down processes have been updated and are outside certified, and significantly reduce down product odor. We wrap the down in a baffled (not sewn threw) ultralight 10 denier ripstop shell to complete the ultralight sleeping bag and prevent down loss!
►WARMER FEET: We know warm feet are critical for a good night’s sleep so we removed some down from underneath your back (where it is compressed and not adding warmth) and moved it to your feet, giving you warmer feet in this light sleeping bag without extra weight!
