Care+Wear’s Story

We founded Care+Wear in 2014 after our friend began undergoing chemotherapy through a PICC line and was told to wear a tube sock to protect and cover his PICC site. This ugly, bulky sock made his experience even more uncomfortable and constantly reminded him and others of his illness. Realizing existing patient solutions were only focused on function and not on how they look or make patients feel, we set out to change the status quo.

What material is the shirt made from?
Our flattering, year-round style is made of a soft, premium fabric that will fit in with your life, in and out of treatment. Our fabric is a blend of 64% Polyester, 33% Rayon, and 3% Spandex.

Is the shirt stretchy?
The shirt is designed to flatter most silhouettes with a high-slit hem on each side and it has a natural stretch that moves with your body.

Does the zipper/ zipper pull sit against the skin?
The slider for the zipper does sit against the skin, but the zipper itself has fabric backing, keeping the zipper teeth from sitting against the skin when zipped closed.
