When compared to typical hammock extender straps (also known as daisy chain straps), it has half the weight – while maintaining the same load capacity. When compared to hammock whoopie slings (including tree trunk straps), it is 10 % lighter, quicker to set-up and offers a wider variety of use. 

It is hydrophobic and therefore quick drying, floats on water and has plenty of loops to be used in all imaginable and unimaginable ways. The suspension system FITS ALL HAMMOCKS. If your hammocks end is too thick to clip the carabiner directly to it, simply loop one end of the rope through it and fix any two loops of the rope with the carabiner.
