Do I Have to SYNC the Adapter Every Time I Use It?

No! Set it up when the first use, your iPhone will automatically pair with the Light Box every time you start the car after that (Make sure the Bluetooth pairing of your iPhone and car stereo is canceled first).

Special Note：

1, Before connecting the Light Box, make sure that the Bluetooth and WiFi of your iPhone and the car stereo are disconnected. So you need to cancel the Bluetooth pairing of your iPhone and car stereo first. Only in this way you don’t need to connect the Light Box again every time you start the car.

2, For some models, you need to switch to CarPlay mode on the car screen before connecting the Light Box.

Can You Tell Me How to Update this Adapter?

Step 1, Connect your iPhone to the adapter and wait until CarPlay appears on the screen (Make sure to connect your iPhone to the AW1006 via WiFi: WiFi Name: ConnectBoxBtWiFi_***”, Password: 88888888).

Step 2, Enter 192.168.0.1 in your iPhone browser and click “Enter/Go.”

Step 3, If you see an update available, click it. Wait until the update bar reaches 100%. When CarPlay reappears on the screen, done!
