Allen Sports Deluxe 1-Child Bicycle Trailer

The Allen Sports T1 1-Child bicycle trailer offers the perfect outdoor solution for active parents. The item quickly sets up as a bike trailer right out of the box. 16″ rear wheels deliver low rolling resistance, and large front and side windows let your passenger enjoy the ride. The T1 trailer includes a foot bar that protects your children’s feet, and also comes with a removable three season bug and rain shield. The padded five-point safety harness securely holds your child in place during use. A universal coupler secures to your bicycle’s rear axle and makes installation and removal from your bicycle a snap. The trailer also includes a safety flag for added visibility when riding. All Allen trailers pass the required ASTM safety standards.

Easy Attach Bike Hitch

The bike trailer arm includes the Allen AST-HCH quick attach trailer hitch. Once this is attached to your bicycle you will be able to quickly install and remove the trailer. The AST-HCH fits most full sized bicycles with bolt on or quick release wheels.

Rear Storage Pockets

The S2 includes two rear storage pockets for carrying items on your trailer. There are also two small interior pockets inside of the cabin of the trailer.

About Allen Sports

Dick Allen (pictured left in 1972) started Allen Sports in his garage in 1967. Since its founding, the company has been committed to producing the highest-quality, easiest-to-use bike racks and bicycle related products on the market. Dick, a onetime aerospace engineer, opened Allen Sports after building a prototype bike carrier in his Lincoln, Massachusetts shop in his free time. The first ever trunk-mounted bicycle carrier made of electrical conduit, metal strapping, and fire hose casings (for padding) was thoroughly tested on weekend excursions to Cape Cod. Shortly afterward, Allen took his design to market, and by 1971 had established a national presence for his product.

Today, the family owned company owns more than three dozen patents, operates four warehouses nationally, six factories abroad, and sells products in countries around the world including USA, Mexico, Canada, and China.
